Two Discovery High School students have earned perfect scores on the SAT.

Senior, Hayden Frye earned a perfect 800 on the verbal portion of the SAT when he took the test in October.

Junior, Geoffrey McGee earned a perfect 800 on the math portion of the SAT when he took the test in December.

According to College Board, an agency that tracks high school seniors, out of roughly 1.66 million high school seniors graduating in 2012 who took the SAT, only 360 or 0.022 percent scored a composite score of 2400.

Both Frye and McGee are the first students at Discovery High School to earn perfect scores.

Both students offered tips to those taking the test. Frye has this tip to offer, "Study the question types, the formats of the questions. Be calm and don't stress."
