Development of Conover Station continuing

The city of Conover approved a new public/private partnership at Monday’s city council meeting that will bring 45,000-square feet of retail development to the northernmost point of Conover Station. The plan lines up exactly with the city’s original master plan for the space.

Local business owners Amir Rashidi, of United Machine and Metal Fabrication Company and wife Sharon Rashidi of The Perfect Workout in Newton, have chosen Conover Station as the destination for their expanded fitness center as well as added retail space to be leased.
