Dear editor: School leaders should beg Tom Brown for help

Dear editor:
Mr. Barger, as a voting citizen of Catawba County, I would like to know why Tom Brown is not being named interim coach for Maiden. We are a community that cherishes our own. Tom may be one of the best motivational coaches ever. He has always taken small town kids and given them the confidences to believe anything. Yet the school board continually disrespects him. If you and the board value your positions you all will be at his door begging him to help. We will not forget come election time.
