Dale Jarrett honored by his hometown with key

Dale Jarrett was born and raised in Conover and is a proud resident of the community today.

“It makes me proud to know that people that I have known and went to school with are still taking care of this great community that we have,” Jarrett said at Monday night’s Conover City Council meeting. “I’m proud to still be a resident here.”

The city is also proud, and awarded Jarrett with a key to the city.
