CVCC earns 'exceptional' rating

July 31, 2012

Catawba Valley Community College earned an A+ on its annual report card from the N.C. Community College System.

“This evaluation says to prospective students, their parents and everyone in our community that CVCC provides a quality education and our graduates are meeting the expectations of employers and senior institutions,” said CVCC President Dr. Garrett D. Hinshaw. “It is tangible evidence of the outstanding work done by our faculty and staff. They are the ones who deserve the praise.”

The rating is based on the system’s annual review of eight performance measures as mandated by the N.C. General Assembly.
