CVCC athletics back in the nationwide spotlight again

For the second time in the 2012 calendar year, a sports team from Catawba Valley Community College prepares to take the national stage.

The Lady Bucs volleyball program won the Region X/District P tournament last weekend at Brunswick Community College to advance to the National Junior College Athletic Association National Championships in Toledo, Ohio from Nov. 15-17.

This past spring, the CVCC baseball team won the Region X baseball tournament in Morehead City to make an appearance at the NJCAA World Series in Enid, Okla.
