Curley, Kannapolis knock off Eickhoff, Crawdads

Crawdads pitcher Jerad Eickhoff had not lost in his past 12 outings on the mound when he entered Wednesday's game against Kannapolis.

Chasing a South Atlantic League-best 12th win of the season, the right-handed pitcher allowed four runs (all earned) and seven hits in five innings against the visiting Kannapolis Intimidators, as the 'Dads went on to lose, 4-2, at L.P. Frans Stadium.
