CRIME ROUND-UP: Thefts reported countywide

The following incidents occurred this week in Catawba County:

Tuesday
Thieves pried into a Newton man’s pickup truck toolbox and stole a GPS, tools and N.C. Uniform Citation Book at 1927 Mt. Olive Church Road.

Tuesday
Suspects broke into the residence of Joseph Frances Blanchette, 64, of 350 Spencer Road in Conover, and stole a black 42-inch flat-screen TV valued at $550.

Tuesday
Suspects broke into the residence of Dennis Shay Bollinger, 35, of 1234 Valley Court in Hickory, and stole a 40-inch flat-screen TV valued at $400. They also took a window air conditioning unit valued at $150.

Wednesday
Thieves stole a TV, laptop computer and video-game console from a home owned by 4635 County Home Road in Conover. The items are valued at more than $2,500.

Wednesday
Thieves stole jewelry, a TV and DVD player from the residence of Roldan Ciproano Flores, 27, of 4633 County Home Road in Conover. The items are valued at about $1,000.
