For the second-straight day, the Hickory Crawdads won a baseball game by the score of 3-2, knocking off the West Virginia Power in their return to L.P. Frans Stadium on Thursday.

The win was Hickory's fourth-straight overall, which includes a road sweep Monday through Wednesday against the Delmarva Shorebirds.

The 'Dads (27-25) scored one run each in the first, third and fourth in the victory.

Trailing 2-1 after a two-run top of the third by West Virginia (18-36), Zach Cone tied the game for Hickory with a solo home run to left field.

Trever Adams plated the eventual game-winning run in the next inning on a single that scored Kevin Torres.

Hickory and West Virginia play the second game of the four-game set on Friday at 7 p.m. at L.P. Frans Stadium.
