Crawdads opener postponed due to weather

The kickoff to the 20th season of Hickory Crawdads baseball was delayed on Thursday due to weather.

The 'Dads were scheduled to play at Kannapolis, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday with back-to-back seven-inning games starting at 6:05 p.m.

Friday's scheduled game in Kannapolis between the Crawdads and Intimidators will remain at 7:05 p.m.
