The Hickory Crawdads and Kannapolis Intimidators split a doubleheader Monday at L.P. Frans Stadium.
The Crawdads (20-22) took the first game, 5-1, behind a three-run first inning and a two-run second inning.
Zach Cone led the 'Dads in the game with a double and two RBIs. Trever Adams and Luis Sardinas also drove in an RBI each.
In the second game, a four-run top of the second inning helped the Intimidators (17-26) pull out the 4-1 victory.
Garis Pena drove in two of those runs in the inning, plating Rangel Ravelo and Leighton Pangilinan on a single.
Hickory and Kannapolis play another doubleheader Tuesday at L.P. Frans Stadium. The first game time is set for 4 p.m. with the second game to follow 30 minutes after the completion of the first.
