The Hickory Crawdads evened their home series with the Savannah Sand Gnats on Friday with a 3-1 victory at L.P. Frans Stadium.

Second baseman Rougned Odor led Hickory (19-13) with a 1-for-3 hitting performance from the plate, which included two RBIs.

Crawdads third baseman Drew Robinson drove in the other run for Hickory.

After falling behind 1-0 to Savannah (21-13) on a T.J. Rivera home run to left field in the first inning, Hickory clawed back into the game in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Odor's double with two outs plated Kevin Torres and Trever Adams to give the Crawdads their first lead of the game, 2-1.

Hickory added a late insurance run in the bottom of the eighth when Robinson's ground out to first plated Odor from third base.

The Crawdads and Sand Gnats finish out the weekend with the final two contest of the four-game tilt at L.P. Frans. Saturday's game is at 6 p.m., while Sunday's contest is set for 5 p.m.
