Six Hickory Crawdads doubled Friday, helping the team to an 11-4 road victory over the Greensboro Grasshoppers.

It was the second-straight game that Hickory (7-2 in the second half, 43-35 overall) plated double-digits runs against a road opponent.

First baseman Trever Adams, right fielder Jordan Akins, left fielder Alejandro Selen, center fielder Chris Grayson, shortstop Luis Sardinas and second baseman Nick Urbanus all had doubles in the contest.

Sardinas led Hickory with three RBIs, while Adams and Grayson each added two RBIs apiece.

Left-hander Will Lamb picked up his first win of the season, going five innings and allowing fives hits, three runs (all earned), two walks and struck out five Greensboro batters.

The 'Dads and 'Hoppers play the second of a five-game set Saturday at Grasshopper Stadium in Greensboro at 7 p.m.
