Scoring in six-of-nine innings, the Hickory Crawdads picked up their second-straight win over the Delmarva Shorebirds in Maryland on Tuesday.

Catcher Kevin Torres and first baseman Jhonny Gomez led Hickory (25-25) with two RBIs each.

Zach Cone and Jeremy Williams also drove in an RBI each for the ‘Dads.

Hickory’s Victor Payano picked up the seven-inning victory on the mound, allowing three hits, no runs, two walks and struck out 11 Shorebird batters.

Hickory and Delmarva play the third and final road game of the series on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.

The ‘Dads return home Thursday for the first of a four-game series against the West Virginia Power.
