Cops bust meth lab in Newton

Police say charges are forthcoming for the people responsible for a meth lab discovered in Newton on Tuesday evening.

Information to Newton Police Department’s narcotics division led officers to a single-family home at 309 East 26th St. in Newton about dusk Tuesday. Authorities used a search warrant to enter the home. Once inside, investigators found remnants of methamphetamine activity.
