Conover woman 'comes on down' to Price is Right

After a long day of waiting in line, Mary Rainey, her mother, and her sisters took their seats in the audience for The Price is Right on Sept. 11.

The loud music pumped up the crowd, and everyone was clapping and dancing in excitement. The first contestant name was called, but Rainey didn't hear it over the commotion. The next contestant was called, and once again the audience overwhelmed the announcer. When she looked up, it was a dream come true.
