Conover Police help in catching Michigan man

The Conover Police Department assisted in taking down an out-of-state criminal this past weekend.

The Albion Department for Public Safety obtained a warrant for 47-year-old Jackie Dale McConnell, of Albion, Mich. for his arrest from the Calhoun County Prosecutor for Sex Offender Registry Violations.

Detectives from Michigan took McConnell into custody with assistants from the Conover Police Department.
