Conover mom's bond reduced

February 15, 2012

A Conover woman charged with child abuse had her bond reduced Wednesday, according to The Charlotte Observer.

Charlotte police say Ladonna Parlier, 26, was seen tampering with her infant daughter's intravenous line at Carolinas Medical Center earlier this month.

A judge reduced Parlier's bond to $12,500, $2,500 each for the five counts of felony child abuse she faces, according to the Observer.

Her bond was previously set at $137,500.

She has been ordered to not have contact with her 5-month-old child.

If released from jail, Parlier is required to wear an ankle monitor and seek a mental health assessment with treatment, according to the Observer.

Parlier is due in court Feb. 24 for a probable cause hearing.
