Conover budget hearing Monday

Conover citizens get one final chance to voice their opinions on the city's proposed budget for the coming year.

The city invites citizens to speak Monday night at a public forum that preludes Conover City Council's vote on approval of a 2012-13 fiscal year budget.

Citizens will see a 3 percent water rate increase next fiscal year if the current proposed budget is approved.
