Concordia marks a historic milestone

History was celebrated this week at Concordia Lutheran Church and School.

Both institutions marked their 135th anniversaries with a number of different events, which started on Sunday.

Starting out as Conover High School in 1878, the school eventually was renamed Concordia High School and later chartered as Concordia College in 1881.
