Comedian killed after Newton performance

A stand-up comedian,  who performed Saturday night at a sold out performance in the Newton-Conover Auditorium, died early Sunday morning  in a two-car wreck on I-40 in Durham County.

Brian Edward Kiley, 28, of Goodlettsville, Tenn., died at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the other vehicle, Raul Herrera, 31, of High Point, was charged with driving while impaired, according to the Durham Police Department.
