Claremont’s history

When paying water bills or visiting the Claremont branch library, residents have several new photos to check out at in city hall.

The city of Claremont announced two weeks ago at the February monthly city council meeting that the Claremont History Wall was open to the public. City Manager Doug Barrick said the Claremont City Council established historical preservation of photos and documents from Claremont’s past as one of the actions items in the 2012 three year action plan.  He said the history wall represents the beginnings of the cities collection of historical photos and artifacts.
