Catawba TV show wins big

Catawba County was among 17 North Carolina governments to earn recognition in the fifth North Carolina City & County Communicators’ (NC3C) Excellence in Communications Awards presented on March 21, as part of NC3C’s annual Spring Conference in Greensboro.

Catawba County and the city of Hickory jointly entered the Catawba Communities television show that airs on Charter Communications’ Government Channel (Channel 3) in the category of “Most Creative Project with the Least Amount of Funds.”  The program received the first place award in that category.
