Carolina Panthers preseason schedule released

CHARLOTTE — The Panthers will visit the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens for a nationally televised preseason game Aug. 22, the NFL announced.

The Panthers open the preseason against at home against the Chicago Bears on Aug. 9.

The next two games are on the road — Aug. 15 at the Philadelphia Eagles followed by the game at Baltimore which will be televised by ESPN.

Carolina finishes the preseason at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The date for that game has not been determined.
