The Newton Business Advisory Committee presented the 2017 Economic Development Award for a business that employs more than 100 people to Bassett Furniture Industries. Newton congratulates the recipients of the Business Advisory Committee’s 2017 Economic Development Awards. Bassett Furniture Industries received the Economic Development Award for a business that employs more than 100 people. Pin Station Bowling Center received the Economic Development Award for a business that employs fewer than 100 people. Dr. Alan Forshey of Newton Family Physicians was named the Economic Development Professional of the Year.
