BREAKING: Rock Barn-area residents evacuated

Emergency personnel are evacuating some residents in the Rock Barn area of Conover due to a gas leak, according to Catawba County emergency communications.

At 7:30 p.m., a communications worker said no additional information about the leak and its affect on residents is currently available.
