Braves score five straight, oust Crawdads in finale

In the thick of the South Atlantic League North Division second-half playoff race, the Hickory Crawdads suffered a setback toward making the postseason on Wednesday.

Trailing 3-1, the Rome Braves scored five-straight runs on their way to a 6-4 matinee victory over the Crawdads at L.P. Frans Stadium in the two team's three-game series finale.
