Bonnie, Clyde identified

Police identified the man and woman dubbed Bonnie and Clyde, and the pair faces several charges and $1 million bonds.

Catawba County Sheriff Coy Reid said Michael Neal Bagwell, 35, and Diana Michelle Dayton, 35, both of Georgia, are facing numerous criminal charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle, robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony larceny.

Bagwell and Dayton led police on a high-speed chase Tuesday in Sherrills Ford. The couple allegedly stole several vehicles and broke into homes near Island Point Road in Sherrills Ford. The chase ended when police shot the couple as the Jeep the couple was driving barreled into a police barricade.

Bagwell and Dayton were treated at the hospital for gunshot wounds before being released into the custody of Catawba County sheriff's deputies.

Dayton and Bagwell are in Catawba County jail facing $1 million bonds each.

Dayton is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, robbery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of felony larceny, four counts of felony breaking and entering, breaking and entering, second-degree kidnapping, attempt to break or enter a building and attempted common law robbery.

Bagwell faces charges of attempted common law robbery, two counts of felony breaking and entering, three counts of felony larceny, robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of breaking and entering and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Dayton's first court appearance is set for April 27, and Bagwell's first appearance is set for Friday.

...she is gonna come up with some sob story about being molested, forced into "poleDancin'" or given drugs at an early age and low self esteem. That is what drove her to this end!
