Big expansion will come with its share of complications

NEWTON — Justice may be getting a little messy for a while and require a roundabout path.

Not "justice" the concept, but the Justice Center here in Catawba County, now that county commissioners unanimously and with little fanfare
late Monday approved a $24.6 million bid for Hickory Construction to handle a major expansion at the facility.

When it's finished, the multi-story expansion will include some remarkable features.
