Bandys' Brittany Moss sets sights on Olympic goal

While athletes from around the globe are currently competing in London for a chance at Olympic gold, one Catawba teen is aiming to reach that stage one day.

Brittany Moss, who many in the Bandys community know also as a standout basketball player for the Lady Trojans, competed at the AAU Junior Olympic Games in Houston, Texas from July 28 to Aug. 4.

Moss, along with her teammates and Newton-Conover track and field athletes Zariyah Moss, Jervasse Moss and Xavier Stewart, competed in the games, which showcased more than 15,000 young people and 18 events.
