The Sherrills Ford-Terrell Rotary Club has started a program to honor a “Student of the Month.”

Their first recipient of this award was given to Jared Torrence.

Torrence is currently a senior at Bandys High School.  He was nominated for this award by school faculty.

“He is a very well-rounded young man who is liked by everyone, and he exemplifies what Rotary’s Four Way Test conveys,” Assistant Principal Steve Westmoreland said.
