Assistant DA arrested for DWI

Catawba County's chief assistant district attorney was arrested and charged with a DWI Tuesday.

Eric Bellas was arrested at about 2 a.m. by Sunset Beach Police and taken to Brunswick County jail. From Bellas' mug shot, he appears to have many facial injuries.

Bellas was released at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday.

The question I have: Was Bellas driving his own car, or a Ford van registered to his employer?
And if the Black Mountain police are so willing to let the law slide for badge toting alcohol accessories, what about the police in Brunswick County?
