The Main branch of the Catawba County Library System in Newton boarded a train to the past on Tuesday for a presentation that dated all the way back to 1853.
In conjunction with the Catawba County Genealogical Society, Tammy Wilson presented â€śOrphan Train.â€ť
She shared her research on the story about how an estimated 250,000 minors were removed from eastern cities to mid-west of America from 1853-1929.
