Adopt-A-Spot

The Newton Appearance Commission is inviting the community to get involved in efforts to help beautify the city.

"The more we improve our looks the more people will want to come to the city," said Chairperson Collette Touchette.

The commission started the Adopt-A-Spot program last fall, but really kicked it off this spring. The program invites community groups and individuals to choose a location in the city limits, create a plan and execute that plan to beautify the space.
