Abernethy seeks second term

Council member Robert C. Abernethy, Jr. is seeking a second term on Newton City Council.

“Newton’s Citizens deserve a voice that speaks for each and every one of them.  I am that voice,” Abernethy said. “During my term on city council I have fought increases in taxes and fees trying to keep the cost of living down.  Newton needs to be an affordable place to live and operate a business.”
