After leaving six runners in scoring position in the game and trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the ninth, Post 48 rallied.

A successful bunt by Nick Guarino forced an error that plated Tyler Pait and Logan Gray to tie the game.

With the bases loaded three batters later, Davis Hanvey hit an RBI single to score Jordan Eckerd, giving Hickory Post 48 a dramatic 3-2 win in its season opener at Henkel-Alley Field.
