In all, 22 teams competed Tuesday night. The event was held in the Newton-Conover High School Gymnasium and emceed by Michael Willard from WXRC/WNNC radio.

Many of the teams got into the spirit by donning costumes to either intimidate their opponents or  win a prize for “best costume.”
