‘Hot’ meals for kids summer program

St. Paul United Methodist Church in Newton has been selected as a site to serve “hot” meals to underprivileged youth this summer free of charge.

Starting yesterday, Monday, June 3, the church will provide free breakfast and lunch meals daily during the summer months due to a collaborative deffort with  the C. Ray & Cynthia M. Kennedy Foundation of Charlotte to operate a Summer Food Service Program in Catawba County.
