Newton-Conover (40-2) took out Ashe County in the first round and followed that up with a 42-18 win against Chase.

The Trojans lost a close contest with Thomasville (27-11), ending Bandys’ season with a 17-12 record.

It starts with a first-round match-up against Ashe County.

N-C wrestling coach Eddy Clark said it all starts with a formula.
