Bandys had made a habit of overcoming double-digit deficits during its run in the 2A girls basketball playoffs.

That experience paid off on Thursday for Goble and the Bandys girls basketball team.
During a scrimmage this summer, the unthinkable happened to Bandys senior basketball player Haleigh Lackey.
The ACL in her left knee was torn â€” as were both her medial and lateral menisci.
â€śI was feeling like my life just basically ended,â€ť Lackey said. â€śBasketball is my life. Thatâ€™s all I ever do is eat, sleep and breathe basketball.â€ť
