Senior Jackie Lomboy pocketed two set piece goals to push the Lady Red Tornadoes to a 2-1 road victory against Fred T. Foard.

The St. Stephens baseball team dropped its second conference game of the season on the diamond in a six-inning 13-3 loss to the Pioneers.
Watauga (7-4, 4-2) scored seven runs on six hits in the second inning, which propelled them to the victory.
Max Linnville led the Pioneers with a 3-for-4 performance from athe palte, including a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored.

The Bunker Hill softball team improved to 4-1 in conference play with a 12-2 mercy rule road victory against the Lady Warriors.
Anna Williams pitched five innings, allowing two runs and striking out two for Bunker Hill.
Olivia Fulbright led the Lady Bears offensively with a three-hit game, including three RBIs.
Williams also had two hits, including a solo home run.
East Burke 5, Maiden 0
The Lady Cavaliers picked up the road victory against the Lady Blue Devils in Maiden on Monday.
CHARLOTTE â€” Paul Pierce scored a season-high 36 points and the Boston Celtics held on to beat the Charlotte Bobcats 102-95 Monday night to move into a first-place tie with Philadelphia 76ers in the Atlantic Division.
Pierce shot 10 of 20 from the field, made 15 of 18 free throws and added 10 rebounds and four assists.
Pierce has scored 20 or more points in five of the past six games and is averaging 22.3 points per game during March.
Kevin Garnett had 24 points for the Celtics.

Doug Miller resigned Friday as the Maiden boys basketball coach.
Miller, who spent four seasons as Blue Devils coach, went 19-75 during his tenure, including a 9-15 record and a playoff appearance this season.
â€śWhen the season was over, stepping down was something my wife and I talked about,â€ť Miller said. â€śI wanted to give it a month or two to see where I wanted to go with it, but I didnâ€™t want to leave the school hanging. I didnâ€™t want to drop off in the summer and have them scrambling for a coach.â€ť
Bunker Hill 10, Newton-Conover 3
The Lady Bears won a conference road game against the Lady Red Devils in Newton on Friday.
Courtney Adsit and Desirae Bebber both drove in two RBIs each to lead Bunker Hill, who improves to 3-1 in conference play.
Cierra Jones had two hits for the Lady Red Devils, who fall to 0-3 in the CVAC.
Kadi O'Shell pitched seven innings, allowing three runs and two walks, while striking out 10 Newton-Conover batters. N-C's Catherine Jones suffered the loss.
St. Stephens 14, Hickory 0
DURHAM â€” Duke expects freshman guard Austin Rivers to decide next week whether he will enter the NBA draft.
Team spokesman Matt Plizga said Friday that Rivers will discuss his future plans with his family this weekend, and an announcement on his future is expected next week.
The son of Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers averaged a team-leading 15.5 points and was a unanimous selection as the ACC's rookie of the year.
