The Trojans (15-16, 2-0) and the Bears (14-19, 0-2) also competed against South Caldwell (19-11).

St. Stephens picked up a Northwestern 3A/4A victory in boys basketball against Watauga on Tuesday, but the win didn't come easy.
The Indians survived an eight-overtime with the Pioneers to come away victorious, 103-98, in Boone.
