Below is a look at the prep playoff schedule for baseball, soccer, softball and tennis involving teams across Catawba County:
Bunker Hill (13-10) at Polk County (14-8), 7 p.m. Friday
Maiden (11-11) at Shelby (16-7), 7 p.m. Friday
N. Lincoln (8-15) at Bandys (18-7), 7 p.m. Friday
Hunter Harveyâ€™s biggest contribution to the Bandys baseball team typically comes when he is pitching on the mound.
Tuesday night, it was Harveyâ€™s presence at the plate that made all the difference.
The senior second baseman drove in seven runs, helping the Trojans defeat Draughn 15-5 in five innings to claim the CVAC tournament title.
Behind the play of senior Jessica Cooper and freshman Sammie West, the Maiden softball team claimed its first conference tournament title since 2004 on Tuesday.

Former kicker John Kasay signed a one-day contract to retire with Carolina on Tuesday.
The Panthers held a special retirement reception on Tuesday for Kasay.
Tonight's Catawba Valley 2A baseball championship game between Bandys and Draughn has been moved.
The contest, originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at the Hickory American Legion Fairgrounds, was moved to Maiden High School at 7 p.m. tonight.
The CVAC softball championship between Maiden and Draughn will still be played at Maiden High School tonight at 6 p.m.

A number of different prep sports events from Monday were postponed due to rain in the area.
Baseball and softball tournaments in the Catawba Valley 2A were moved to Tuesday.
Sophomore Ricki Kuhnâ€™s two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth inning lifted Maiden to a 3-2 victory against Bunker Hill in the semifinals of the CVAC softball tournament on Friday at MHS.
The Lady Blue Devils (19-3) face Draughn in the tournament final on Monday in a rematch of last weekâ€™s 8-1 loss by Maiden in its season finale in Valdese.
