Boyles, Juerges take titles; Tigers sweep team honors

No cross-country team had ever went three-straight years winning both the boys and girls titles at the Catawba County Cross-Country Championships.

That was until Tuesday.

Fred T. Foard made history by taking down both honors at the event, which was held at Murray’s Mill.

CHARLOTTE — Coach Ron Rivera said the Panthers have to find a way to close out games if they're ever going to take the next step as a football team.
