Yazmen Hannah picked the biggest game of the season to have the biggest game of her career.
The Hickory sophomore guard scored a career-high 38 points on Friday, helping the Lady Red Tornadoes (22-2, 10-2) knock off Fred T. Foard 82-59 to grab a share of the Northwestern 3A/4A regular season basketball crown.
The Fred T. Foard boys basketball team picked up a conference-clinching victory against rival Hickory before standing room only crowd at Jerry Copas Gymnasium on Friday.
The Tigers improve to 20-4 overall and 10-2 in Northwestern 3A/4A, while the Red Tornadoes fall to 19-5 overall and 9-3 in the NWC.
