Red Devils shorthanded against Rebels on Friday

After a difficult loss to rival Maiden last week on the road, the Newton-Conover football team tries to regain momentum when it hosts West Lincoln tonight.

Red Devil head coach Brint Russell said the fallout from his team’s defeat last week has been difficult.

Trojan defense stifles Wolves in 14-0 shutout

Behind two early scores and a strong defensive night, the Bandy junior varsity football team defeated Lincolnton 14-0 on Thursday night.

The Trojans improve to 3-2 overall, including 2-1 in conference play.
