Only two schools have ever been crowned champion in three years of the Catawba County swimming championships.
St. Stephens has done it twice.

Below are Tuesday's prep and college scores:
Bandys 65, South Iredell 58
East Burke 62, Maiden 31
Fred T. Foard 57, St. Stephens 45
Hickory 79, Hibriten 47
Newton-Conover 63, Draughn 50
West Caldwell 49, Bunker Hill 25
Bandys 67, South Iredell 59
East Burke 88, Maiden 29
Fred T. Foard 62, St. Stephens 57
Roy Hibbert won a basketball game Tuesday night but lost $500.
In the waning minutes of a blowout victory, Hibbert told the final five Indiana Pacers left on the floor he'd pay them $100 each if they kept the Charlotte Bobcats from scoring 80 points.
Pay up, Roy.
"Yeah, I'm a man of my word," Hibbert said. "A Hibbert always pays his debts. ... I guess I have to go find an ATM."
The Fred T. Foard wrestling team closed out its non-conference schedule in impression fashion.
The Tigers won the Eagle Duals at Wilkes Central High School on Saturday, improving to 26-1 on the season.
