Xiong, Hernandez pace Bears in route of Ironmen

After beating Cherryville 4-1 earlier this season, the Bunker Hill soccer team was even more impressive in its second outing against the Ironmen.

Paced by a three-goal performance from freshman Richard Xiong, the Bears blanked Cherryville 7-0 in Claremont on Wednesday.

The Hickory Crawdads announced on Wednesday that their partnership with the Texas Rangers has been extended.

The 'Dads and Rangers came to an agreement that will extend their Player Development Contract through the end of the 2014 season.
