Junior helps continue Saint soccer dynasty

PREP NOTEBOOK: Lady Bears pull comeback

Down 2-0 heading into the seventh inning, the Lady Bears scored four runs in the seven for a come-from-behind victory against Maiden on the softball diamond.

Anna Williams delivered the game winning hit — a two RBI single that plated Desirae Bebber and Makayla Hedrick.

Bebber and Hedrick drove in one RBI each in the Lady Bears' comeback inning.

'Dads drop series finale to 'Hoppers, 9-3

The Greensboro Grasshoppers picked up a 9-3 victory in the series finale against the Hickory Crawdads on Friday before 1,540 fans at L.P. Frans Stadium.

'Hoppers catcher Austin Barnes led his team by going 3-for-3 from the plate with a double and three RBIs.
