Doug Miller resigned Friday as the Maiden boys basketball coach.
Miller, who spent four seasons as Blue Devils coach, went 19-75 during his tenure, including a 9-15 record and a playoff appearance this season.
“When the season was over, stepping down was something my wife and I talked about,” Miller said. “I wanted to give it a month or two to see where I wanted to go with it, but I didn’t want to leave the school hanging. I didn’t want to drop off in the summer and have them scrambling for a coach.”
